don’t you hate the people in our school that walk around like they’re the shit. i mean, i know you’re hot but honestly, you’re not the king of the wild things or anything.

i can’t go on adventures with him (not referring to apurva here), even if he invites me to them. do you know how happy i got when he said that once he starts driving more, i’d be number one on his “guest list”. i can’t go sledding with him. i can’t even get in the car with him because my mom thinks that if i get into a car with someone close my age i’ll get into a car accident (plus he’s not even indian which makes things harder but whatever). for all i know, he might end up being a tool. but i have to figure that out for myself. and it’s just kind of frustrating that i probably won’t be able to you know? i mean, i obviously do want to do well in school that’s not it, but to do that with all these strings attached is just bothersome. i mean, i always get compared to pooja. and pooja had a boyfriend pretty much all throughout junior year. my mom practically told me that i can’t have a boyfriend because i’m going to get pregnant. i mean, i love my parents i do. but sometimes, i really just can’t wait to be far away.

and the whole life story thing kind of freaked me out a bit. it was a bit awkward turtle like. since he talked about his ex gf a bit too. whatever.

ugh. i feel so pathetic. it’s like i can’t function if i don’t like someone. this is REALLY BAD. i need to learn to stop liking every guy that falls in my path. and to stop getting disappointed. and stop thinking about them so much. i need to learn to be on my fucking own and not have what they say invade my head.
